Certificate II – Engineering Pathways (MEM20413)

Some students commence the first units of the qualification whilst in Year 10, however the qualification can be delivered over two years (Years 11 and 12). Utilising the fully equipped Trade Trading Centre, students are trained by our qualified trainers using up to date engineering tools and machines.

To achieve the qualification a total of 12 units of competency must be completed, which consists of four Core (compulsory) and 8 elective units. Throughout the course students will construct a number of projects using a range of tools and engineering machines.  In Year 12 students are able to plan, design and construct their own project, either individually or as a team under the guidance and supervision of their trainer.

Students are required to complete both practical and knowledge based assessments to achieve the qualification.
