Student Council
The Student Council is a pro-active group of motivated students who work hard to represent students’ views and ideas for improvement both at college and in the wider community.
Students are elected by their peers to represent their year group’s concerns and ideas. Student Councillors are involved in the day-to-day running of the college with major input in assemblies, fundraising, and college events. They also represent the college in the wider community by participating in the Mount Barker RSL’s ANZAC march and ceremony, and the Shire of Plantagenet’s Blessing of the Roads Ceremony. Students also have the opportunity to participate in leadership camps and courses that provide councillors with the tools to be effective future leaders.
Year 6 Student Leaders
Our Year 6 Head Students, Prefects, Glee Reps, and House Captains have the opportunity to develop their communication, strategic thinking, interpersonal and leadership skills. The following students will graduate from their primary school career with strong communication skills and the ability to effectively develop team relationships to achieve goals.
